DAI Adventures, Inc is the franchisee of the Club Pilates Studio.

Position Summary

The General Manager serves as the primary representative of the studio, overseeing the staff and all operational areas including sales, equipment maintenance, instructional services, and member experience. A key responsibility of this role is to ensure the highest standards of customer service are consistently maintained.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide exceptional level of customer service to new and existing members via face-to-face, phone, text, and/or email.
  • Proficient at Club Ready software to troubleshoot client account inquiries, possible sales opportunities, attendance and sales reports, etc.
  • Contact prospects/leads to schedule Pilates class and enroll them in a membership.
  • Drive Membership sales and Membership retention activities and events.
  • Lead and mentor sales staff to include scheduling, training, and role playing while supporting a positive culture.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Pilates Studio.
  • Enforce Club Pilates policies and procedures relating to customers.
  • Ensure all forms, administrative supplies and studio literature are stocked and visible
  • Lead generation including Grass Roots Marketing and Networking
  • Schedule and participate in networking/community events and studio promotions.
  • Local social media kept fresh and current to provide accurate information and engage with our members and potential members.
  • Respond to all social media reviews in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain positive morale in staff and a positive atmosphere for all members to enjoy
  • Purchase studio retail products, ensure they are stocked, and then manage the accuracy of the inventory.
  • Manage the instructors including scheduling and review of evaluations performed by Lead / Master Trainers.
  • Manage delinquent accounts and charge back transactions to minimize loss.
  • Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications / Skills

  • Confident in generating personal sales and training Sales team in sales
  • Ability to manage and drive 4 revenue streams: memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training
  • Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via email
  • Ability to excel in a fast-changing, diverse environment.
  • Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgement.
  • An affinity and passion for fitness.
  • Solid writing and grammar skills.
  • Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Professional, punctual, reliable and neat.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients and the general public.
  • Proficiency with computers and Studio software.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • College Degree preferred
  • 2+ years of retail/service sales or fitness sales experience.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience.

Compensation

  • This position offers a very competitive base salary; based on experience & performance.
  • Commission paid on personal sales
  • Opportunity to bonus, based on performance
