Position Summary

The Sales Representative supports the General Manager in with studio sales, including scheduling new members for Intro classes. This role also helps with customer appreciation, retention, and administrative support.
 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Exceptional customer service distinguishes our business. In every interaction, whether face-to-face, by phone, text, or email, you should provide outstanding support to both new and existing members.
  • Proficient at Club Ready software to troubleshoot client account inquiries, possible sales opportunities, attendance and sales reports, etc.
  • Conduct tours of the studio to potential members, while establishing a relationship and learning their needs and wants.
  • Contact prospects/leads to schedule Pilates class and enroll them in a membership.
  • Perform Membership sales and Membership appreciate / retention activities and events.
  • Working cooperatively to meet individual and studio Monthly Sales goals.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Pilates Studio.
  • Enforce Club Pilates policies and procedures relating to customers.
  • Ensure all forms, administrative supplies and studio literature are stocked and visible.
  • Participate in networking/community events and studio promotions.
  • Maintain a positive, welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the studio.
  • You are expected to maintain honesty and integrity in all professional interactions.
  • You may be assigned additional duties as needed to support studio operations.

Qualifications / Skills

  • Confident in generating personal sales.
  • Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via email
  • Ability to excel in a fast-changing, diverse environment.
  • Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgement.
  • An affinity and passion for fitness.
  • Solid writing and grammar skills.
  • Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Professional, punctual, reliable and neat.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients and the general public.
  • Proficiency with computers and Studio software.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Retail/service sales or fitness sales experience.

Compensation & Benefits

  • This position offers competitive compensation; based on experience & performance.
  • Commission paid on personal sales
